Dennis Crowley co-founded the popular social networking site Dodgeball which was acquired by Google in 2005. Crowley developed a second version of the original Dodgeball service called Foursquare in 2009. Foursquare, offering location-based social networking services via mobile devices, had an estimated one million users worldwide as of April 2010.
